Integrated Fastening – Moulded Finishing
A sealing concept relied on multiple external fasteners assembled onto the main profile. By redesigning the component and integrating the fastening function directly into the moulded finishing detail, we eliminated seperate parts and created a single-piece solution.
Impact:

- simplified assembly;
- improved robustness;
- lower material usage.
Fastening by Precision Notching
During early concept development, several additional fastening components were planned. We engineered the required retention features directly into the profile using a precise notching process in the finishing stage – removing the need for seperate fastening parts.
Impact:
- no additional external components;
- lower cost;
- higher process stability;
- cleaner design.
Decorative Function Through Co-Extrusion
A sealing system required seperate aluminum trims to achieve the desired appearance. Through advanced co-extrusion, we integated decorative trim-elements directly onto the TPV surface – eliminating aluminium components entirely.

- fewer assembly steps;
- reduced weight;
- lower cost;
- improved sustainability.
